At great risk of offending some and of ruining my otherwise pristine reputation, I'm going to test the memories of the boys in our class.  While reading an autobiography by Pete Rose (ladies, he's the Cincinnati Reds baseball player who is the major league all-time leader in career hits--4,256--and who was banned from baseball for gambling), I noted a very funny anecdote involving a woman Pete describes as "a gorgeous woman who was built like nobody I'd ever seen!"  Her name was Elizabeth Goodneighbor, or so she said.  I actually laughed aloud reading the story because it brought back memories of what was a rite of passage when we were at RRHS.  Now boys, how many of you not only recognize the name, but actually had occasion to "see" this fine young lady, Ms. Goodneighbor, perform at the Roxy in downtown Cleveland?  Maybe it would refresh your memories to know that she was also known as "Irma the Body".  And girls, how many of you will now confess to having seen a show at the Roxy too?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Rick,

i never saw her, but certainly remember her name. Now, do YOU rember  "Dandy" Kochin at RRHS?  Waist-length hair, very slender and with large and very pointy breasts?  She was quite the scandal back then, and managed to get thrown out very quickly.

Jack, can't say that I remember "Dandy."  I must have had my attention focused on the math class PFTW.
